    This position is in part responsible for:

    • Every 7-10 days perform individualized consultations with children 0-18 yrs. of age with their Parents / Legal Guardians through family and individual sessions.
    • Work with eligible clients following the guidelines (STAY Program Plan of Operation) described in the contract between High Sky Children's Ranch and the TDFPS, and in the Contract Handbook and Compliance Guide.
    • Develop action plans with family’s assistance. Plans should state desired outcome, goals and tasks and update monthly.
    • Attend High Sky Children's Ranch Pre-Service Workshop, Strengthening Families Program Certification training, program meetings and all identified trainings as specified by the contract or their immediate Supervisor.
    • Share twenty-four on-call responsibilities with other program staff to ensure that all client’s needs are met in the timeliest fashion possible.
    • Assist with outreach services to promote public awareness of the STAY Program and child abuse prevention through public speaking and distribution of materials.

    To be considered for this role, you should at a minimum have:

    • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in the Human Services field and at least one year of experience in working with youth and families.
    • An additional year of experience in working with youth and families may be substituted for each year of college normally required to secure a bachelor’s degree.
